Terms and Conditions

1. 1. Who we are

   VibeAudits is run by Axentia ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and Axentia. If you use VibeAudits for a company, you agree to them on the company's behalf and confirm you're allowed to.

2. 2. What VibeAudits is

   VibeAudits is a subscription that gives you human experts for the software you build. You send requests (questions, code reviews, audits, calls and the other types listed on Pricing) and we reply in your workspace.

   We review, audit and advise. We don't write, deploy or run your application, and we never need access to your production systems. You decide what to change and you ship it.

3. 3. Your account

   • You sign in with GitHub or with an email and password. You need to be at least 18.
   • Keep your login details secure. You're responsible for what happens under your VibeAudits account.
   • The free trial is limited to one per GitHub account, so you need to connect GitHub to start it.

4. 4. Plans, billing and the free trial

   • Prices are on the Pricing page, in US dollars. Taxes may be added where they apply.
   • Plans are paid in advance, monthly or yearly, through Dodo Payments, who sell the plan to you as merchant of record. They renew automatically until you cancel.
   • Mentor comes with a 7-day free trial with a smaller allowance. A card is required, and you're charged on day 7 unless you cancel before then. Pro has no trial and is charged when you subscribe.
   • Upgrades start straight away. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the period you've paid for.
   • If we change prices, we'll tell you before the new price applies to your next renewal.
   • If a payment fails, we may pause new requests until it's sorted.

5. 5. Request allowances and extras

   • Each plan includes a set number of each request type per billing period. Allowances reset at the start of each period and unused requests don't roll over.
   • You can buy single extra requests from Billing. They're one-off payments, separate from your plan.
   • You can cancel a request until work on it has started. If it used an extra you bought, the extra goes back on your account.

6. 6. Cancellation and refunds

   You can cancel any time from Billing. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.

   Payments aren't refundable, including for part of a billing period or for requests you didn't use. This doesn't limit any refund you're entitled to by law.

7. 7. Expert hours and turnaround

   Our experts work 10:00 to 22:00 IST, Mon to Sat. Turnaround times only count those hours, so a request sent outside them starts when we're back. Turnaround times are targets we work to, not guarantees.

8. 8. Access to your code

   • We read code through our GitHub app, with read-only access, on the repositories you choose. You can remove that access in GitHub at any time.
   • An expert may take a temporary read-only copy of a repository to review it in their own editor. Every copy is listed on your Projects page and deleted once the request is delivered.
   • You confirm you have the right to share the code and information you give us.
   • Don't send us passwords, API keys or other secrets. We don't need them. If one reaches us anyway, we'll tell you so you can rotate it.

9. 9. Who owns what

   • Your code and your product stay yours. We don't claim any rights in them.
   • The reports, reviews and advice we deliver are yours to use for your own projects.
   • We keep the rights to VibeAudits itself and to our general know-how, checklists and tools.

10. 10. Confidentiality

    We treat your code, your project details and our conversations as confidential. Only the people working on your account see them, and we only use them to serve you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

11. 11. Acceptable use

    You agree not to:

    • use VibeAudits for anything illegal, or ask us to help with it
    • ask us to review or test systems you don't own or aren't authorised to test
    • resell or share your plan with people outside your team
    • harass or abuse our staff
    • try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service

12. 12. No guarantees

    A review lowers your risk, but no review finds every problem. We don't promise that your application will be free of bugs or security issues after working with us. You stay responsible for what you build and ship.

13. 13. Limits on our liability

    • We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption.
    • Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
    • Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

14. 14. Suspension and ending the agreement

    You can stop using VibeAudits and cancel at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or don't pay. If we close it for any other reason, we'll refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

15. 15. Changes to these terms

    We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll email you or tell you in your workspace before it takes effect. Using VibeAudits after that means you accept the new terms.

16. 16. Governing law

    These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts in India.
