Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data VibeAudits collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

  1. 1. Who we are

    VibeAudits is run by Axentia, which decides how your personal data is used. You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@axentia.in.

  2. 2. What we collect

    • Your account details. If you sign up with email, your name, email address and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password. We never store the password itself.
    • Your GitHub profile. When you sign in with or connect GitHub we get your name, username, profile picture and email address. We don't get your GitHub password.
    • Billing details. Dodo Payments handles your card. We keep your Dodo customer ID, your plan, its status and your billing dates, but never your full card number.
    • Your projects. The names, descriptions, tech stack and linked repositories you add.
    • Your code. If you install our GitHub app, our experts can read the repositories you chose, read-only, when they need to for your requests. To review properly, an expert may download a temporary read-only copy to their own computer. Each copy is logged and listed on your Projects page, the download link stops working after an hour, and the copy is deleted once your request is delivered. Snippets of code can also appear in our messages and reports.
    • Conversations and requests. Your chat messages, requests, files you share and the reports we deliver.
    • Usage data. Pages visited, device and browser type, rough location from your IP address, and how you reached us, such as an ad click ID or campaign tag in the link.

  3. 3. How we use it

    • to run your account and deliver what you request
    • to bill you and handle payments
    • to send notifications and service emails about your account and requests
    • to keep VibeAudits secure and prevent abuse
    • to understand how the site is used and which ads and campaigns work
    • to meet our legal and tax obligations

  4. 4. Who we share it with

    We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the services that help us run VibeAudits:

    • Dodo Payments for payments
    • GitHub for sign-in and repository access
    • Google Analytics and Databuddy for site analytics
    • Calendly when you book a call
    • Resend to send account emails, such as email confirmation and password reset links
    • our hosting and database providers, which store the data for us

    We may also share data if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or with a buyer if Axentia is sold or merged. In that case this policy would continue to apply to your data.

  5. 5. Cookies

    We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and a few small cookies and browser storage entries to remember things like your theme and your cookie choice. These are needed for the site to work.

    We also use analytics cookies. If you're in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we ask you first and only load Google Analytics if you agree. Elsewhere it loads by default. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time.

  6. 6. How long we keep it

    We keep your data while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days. We keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

  7. 7. How we protect it

    Data is encrypted in transit. Our GitHub access is read-only, limited to the repositories you choose, and uses short-lived tokens. Only the staff working on your account can see your projects and conversations. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your data we'll tell you.

  8. 8. Your rights

    Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and the GDPR, you can ask us to:

    • show you the personal data we hold about you
    • correct it
    • delete it
    • give you a copy you can take elsewhere
    • stop using it for analytics or marketing

    Email info@axentia.in and we'll reply within 30 days. You can also remove our GitHub app's access from your GitHub settings at any time. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

  9. 9. Where your data is processed

    We and the providers above may process your data outside your country, including in India and the United States. When we do, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.

  10. 10. Children

    VibeAudits is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

  11. 11. Changes to this policy

    If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email you or tell you in your workspace before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
